Because we receive all packages delivered to us in bulk. That’s what allows us to organize all orders locally and then ship them to our customers in worldwide in a smooth way. Still, this is a fast and safe process that ensures you won’t wait too long to get your order delivered to your door.
No, that’s not possible. Your IndoBox Asia Singapore-based, Malaysian-based or Indonesian-based addresses can only be used as shipping addresses to ensure that your orders are placed on marketplaces as if you were shopping locally. Any other use of your IndoBox Asia shipping address is not permitted and won’t work.
Please keep in mind that, for tax purposes, the cost of your purchased goods and freight charges will be converted into Singapore Dollars and processed based on the most up-to-date exchange rate used by Singapore Customs. The 8% Goods and Service Tax (GST) rate will therefore be calculated on the condensed value reflected on your invoice.
Please keep in mind that, for tax purposes, the cost of your purchased goods and freight charges will be converted into local currency at each destination. The local authorities at each destination will determine the duties or taxes applicable which may or may not apply subject to local requirements.
When you log in to your IndoBox Asia account, you can easily track your package through its item number. If it says, “Arrived in IndoBox Asia Facility”, that means it’s already in the country of purchase and soon to be shipped to your door. In fact, you can track the shipping process in every one of its steps until it gets to your doorstep.
In accordance with the standard practice of all international courier companies, shipping cost is taken at either actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is greater. At IndoBox Asia we adopt the same standard. Actual Weight is the weight of the package when put on a scale. Volumetric/Dimensional Weight is based on the size of the package. Example items that have a small Actual Weight, like Tote Handbag and Shoes, will have a larger volumetric/dimensional Weight. Therefore, we will calculate your shipping cost based on the volumetric weight. Please take note that the shipping costs is calculated based on your merchant/manufacturer's packaging and not the courier package that arrives at your address.
Volumetric weight (kg) = Width x Height x Length (cm) / 5000.
As with any other postal services, you need to acknowledge the receipt of the items with a signature. Hence, you need to be at home. However, you can redirect it to another address in cases of emergency with a small fee..
An email will be sent to you with the order pick-up location. You will be able to collect your items from the designated location.
Insurance is optional, you will be able to select it during delivery. We strongly encourage you to insure your goods with us at a very attractive rate of 2.5% of the total purchase value.
